LendXP Team Members Earn NAGGL Diploma

Written by LendXP | May 5, 2021

Congratulations to LendXP team members Marcia Woebbeking and Kristy Conkity, who both recently earned the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) Fundamental Lender Diploma. They both passed with flying colors (just like we knew they would)!

Marcia is an SBA Servicing Specialist who handles SBA loan servicing for LendXP's bank clients. Kristy is an SBA Credit Specialist who works with LendXP banks from loan application through approval.

Obtaining a NAGGL Fundamental Lender Diploma is an important step in building expertise in SBA lending.  Lenders must complete a series of required courses that ensure an understanding of SBA standard operating procedures (SOPs), credit analysis, closing and funding SBA loans, servicing and liquidating SBA loans, and getting the SBA to honor its guarantee.

"Passing the exam to me makes me feel more resourceful to my team and the banks we service. It challenged me to better understand all areas of SBA loans, including the parts I

don't deal with on a daily basis!" - Marcia Woebbeking

Lenders have three years to complete the coursework and qualify to take the final exam.  After completing and passing the final exam, lenders receive a diploma recognized by the 7(a) industry as evidence of a solid educational experience. Marcia and Kristy will receive their diplomas and be recognized at the NAGGL Annual Conference on Small Business Lending.

"It was a challenging test that covered all areas of SBA lending. Passing the test and receiving my diploma makes me feel even more confident and capable when guiding SBA lenders through the process." - Kristy Conkity
